I have extensive experience in sound design. Years
of fine art training, fused with technical expertise
in a wide array of visual media has provided a solid
foundation from which I work.
My proficiency in print design, pre-press and offset
printing was developed while holding a lead role in
one of the largest graphic design and offset printing
firms in the California Central Valley. This expertise
has become a critical component to the methodology and
offerings of my design work.
In addition to my print design experience, I have also
worked as an Environmental Designer on numerous exterior
displays throughout the Bay Area and California. My
attention to detail of technical structure, as well
as design, is evident in the corporate signage that
define many of the Bay Area's leading companies such
as Siebel, Macromedia, nVidia, Covad, Maple Optical
and Turnstone.
I have worked as an independent freelance designer and
have designed logos for such companies as Hewlett-Packard.
I have acquired a BA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in
computer and multimedia design.
I have recently volunteered my time as a mentor at the
Intel sponsored, Computer Clubhouse of the Boys and
Girls club of South San Francisco. I am active in the
practice of providing technical education for youths
from the under-served communities.
As my current role of Director of Creative Services,
I am constantly driven to find answers to any and all
problems that arise on a day-to-day basis. Due to the
constant evolution of technology, I maintain my education
in my field as well as managing my workflow and refining
my methodology. I am humbled by the vast amount information
that I have yet to come across but look forward to the
challenge of understanding.
